9'x9' octagon treehouse surrounding a beautiful sugar maple.

At the customer's request, almost all branches were left intact to create a real "in the trees" feel.

This simple treehouse is fully supported by external posts and does not touch or rest on the medium-sized sugar maple at all. The floor structure is designed so that the circular opening can be widened every 2-3 years to allow trunk growth. The simple ladder and slide both face the back porch for easy visibility from the house.
